This week, Year 1 have started a new exciting English topic with the story, ‘Man on the Moon’.
They have really enjoyed the story and laughed throughout as Bob doesn't believe in aliens - even though there are some on nearly every page!

So far, the children have asked questions about the main character, used their phonics knowledge to retrieve information and they have recalled facts. They have also made their own creative aliens using different textured materials. This will then be built upon during the week, when writing their own diary.
